Family law is deeply personal. It involves some of the most important decisions a person will ever make about their family, their finances, and their future. Amy Saul Mollengarden has built her entire legal career around helping clients navigate those decisions with compassion, clarity, confidence, and a clear sense of direction.

She began her career as the staff attorney for The Honorable J. Stephen Schuster of the Superior Court of Cobb County, where she spent two years inside the courtroom and in chambers observing how cases are evaluated, how decisions are made, and what truly matters to the court. That experience provides a perspective most attorneys never gain, and it continues to shape the way she approaches every case.

Since entering private practice, Amy has focused exclusively on family law, representing clients across the full spectrum of domestic relations matters throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area and across Georgia.

  • Amy’s approach is built on a simple premise:  the best outcomes come from thorough preparation, deep legal knowledge, and clear strategy.  She understands that no two cases, and no two families, are the same. Every matter requires careful analysis, clear communication, and a plan tailored to the client’s specific circumstances and long-term goals.

  • Amy is deeply connected to the Atlanta community and is committed to supporting children and families beyond her legal practice. She serves on the Emerging Leaders for Children’s, a leadership development board for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and is involved with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation in a variety of capacities, including as a volunteer attorney, Guardian ad Litem, and prior leadership council member. This work reflects a core belief that family law is not just about resolving disputes, it is about supporting people and families through meaningful transitions in their lives.

  • Amy lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two children. Outside of her work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her family. Her life outside the office informs the way she practices inside it - grounded, thoughtful, and always mindful that the people she represents are navigating real, significant life changes.


    At every stage of the process, the goal is the same: to provide clear guidance, thoughtful strategy, and the steady support clients need to move forward with confidence.
